About Me

Text Box: I started off jewellery making as a hobby whilst on holiday in France and I still take a supply of beads and wire with me when we go away.
I now combine my ‘day job’ skills (working part time as a trainer for Kirklees Metropolitan Council) and my love of making jewellery, to run classes, workshops and children’s parties, training others to develop their skills and knowledge in the world of jewellery making.
The photos on this web site show pieces of jewellery that I have made. They are not necessarily photos of the pieces you will be creating but they can be made with the same skills you will be learning in the particular classes. The beauty of making your own jewellery, is that you can create your own style and individuality once you have learnt the basic skills. Although you may loose the use of your kitchen table or spare bedroom on the way!
Text Box: Warning - If you decide to take up jewellery making as a hobby or as a way of earning an extra income it is very addictive! Over the last two years I have lost count of the number of late nights I have spent staying up making jewellery.
You will find it is a very creative, money saving and fun hobby which you could develop into a business if you so wished.
